And indeed, this is pretty much where it ends. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the height of summer, but snow, rain, and strong winds alternate. Sometimes the sun manages to peek through for about 10 minutes, but before you&#8217;ve even taken off your hood, it&#8217;s raining again. Luckily, never for long. After that, it&#8217;s gray again. And windy.    <\/p>\n<p>Buses depart for Tierra del Fuego National Park, ships set course for Antarctica, planes take off bound for Buenos Aires. Ushuaia is a city to leave from, not to stay in. <\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s exactly what we&#8217;re not going to do. Just a few more days and we&#8217;ll cast off the lines again, heading further south.
