In early September, I was interviewed by <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antonette Spaan from <em>We12travel<\/em> and host of the Podcast for Adventurous Women (with over 10,000 downloads!). There I was, in the same lineup as writer and anthropologist Roanne van Voorst and wilderness dweller Miriam Lancewood. A little bit proud (and awkward&#8230;).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It turned into a great conversation about: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">life on board a sailing ship (10:45), <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how Marijn and I met (2:00 PM), <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SeaWind and our sailing ship the Baltic (3:15 PM)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">polar bears on Spitsbergen (7:45 PM), <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">being at sea for months (26:00), <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sailing through some of the most beautiful waters of Antarctica (36:00),<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the sailing trip I still (don&#8217;t) hope to make one day with SeaWind Adventures (41:00)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and a special trip to Spitsbergen that I still think back to almost every day (46:00).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avontuurlijkevrouwen.nl\/22-annet-achterkamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">listen to the podcast here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
